Sukajadi Hotel, my review

65535Sukajadi is an old, quaint boutique hotel with a good location in Bandung. The hotel has been there for ages. The hotel is small and has a homey feeling; I just love the ethnic decor. There is a small swimming pool in the center; it’s pretty romantic to to eat or just sit in the tables outside the pool.

The swimming pool is small so more for children and not for serious swimming Location wise is good; near the famous Rumah Mode outlet and not so far to go to downtown Dago area. The room has a feel of old hotel but they are clean and nicely decorated; Bathroom is clean also with hot water and shower running properly. TV is small but have many cable channels. Phone in our room is not working properly; it’s a challenge trying to dial in for service. No free wifi service; not that we need it when we’re on holiday.

Service is good; they come right away whenever I need something. There is a toilet at lobby level and they’re surprisingly clean and well maintained. Overalll good value of money if you want to stay in a charming hotel, accessible location, with swimming pool to keep children happy : cheap for Bandung standard. We stayed in deluxe room for 458K on Friday. It was 420K for standard room. The cons I found about this hotel is only on breakfast (not many varieties and if there is big group of visitors staying, things run our quickly) and the amenities is very basic, do bring your own bodywash, shampo and conditioner (I always bring my own shampo+conditioner whenever I go anyway), body lotion and toothbrush. Oh and nextdoor there is Zen Massage and reflexology; Adi tried the massage (100K for 1 hour). He said it’s OK. He also told me the reflexology chair comes with personal TV.
